Robots Invade The Mix

Hello, my darlings!

What a wonderful day to say, “Beep! Bop! Boop!” As you may know, that’s robot language for “I love you”…and “please”…and “thank you”…and frankly anything else they wish to express (it’s a very simple language for such complicated machines).

This week, we celebrate our metal-head friends with an entire collection devoted to Robots. Head to The Mix for the latest in futuristic fashion and furniture! Don a hard exterior to hide your jelly-insides or devote your room to the latest in robo decor. Pillows, plug arms and bot-brain heads can now be yours!

In addition, many of you have asked whether the Slime-A-Thon is returning this year. Unfortunately, the blimp flew off to Mars with a spaceship it liked, and we won’t be throwing the KCA event this year. Alas, don’t despair! Our spring will bloom with all sorts of fun and adventure. New Vampire Diaries Gear…and Spring!

Finally, a reason to head to the hills with my hiking boots and bug spray! Spring has sprung with the force of a mighty sunshower, and all sorts of sunny goodness has seeped into Zwinktopia. Throw on your shades and say goodbye to the snow because spring is in Zwinktopia!

But, don’t forget…for every bit of light we shine, the dark underbelly of night waits around the corner. There are only a few weeks before the chilling Season 3 conclusion of the “The Vampire Diaries.” Who said fangs, family and fashion don’t mix? Head over to the kiosk in The Park to peep our new editions to “The Vampire Diaries” kiosk!

Speaking of new editions…just wanted to clarify a question many of you have asked about our new YouTube Channel. Yes, the Zwinky account on YouTube was created in 2006. But, this is the very first year we have decided to go all out to make it a super-fabulous, content-rich destination.

As we mentioned in our earlier post, the official launch of the page hasn’t happened yet; we are still gathering amazing videos by Zwinks around the globe and have more design elements coming to the page. Keep your eyes peeled…there will be more news on this soon!

Zwinky’s New YouTube Channel!

The Academy Awards may be long over, but exciting movie news is just hitting Zwinktopia! As you know, we ❤ the videos you make about Zwinky. To honor your awesome creations, we are launching an Official Zwinky YouTube Channel dedicated to our favorite eye-mazing, mind-blowing, talent-soaked vids by Zwinkster like YOU!

Imagine a single online destination where you can spend delicious hours watching Zwinky vids, 24-7! Whether it’s Zwinky versions of your favorite songs, tips on how to use the Fashion Design Studio, or the latest episode of your favorite original Zwinky series (so…much…DRAMA), you’ll have a one-stop film fest to feast your eyes on!

For this initial phase of our channel, we’d love to collect the most creative videos you’ve made and assemble them into awesome playlists. Down the line, we hope to give Zwinky YouTubers themes and topics to create videos on for fabulous prizes!

Got some work you would like us to consider for our channel? Or have a favorite Zwinky video by another Zwink you’d like to recommend? Here’s what you need to do:

1. Visit http://www.youtube.com/zwinky, the Official and ONLY YouTube Channel of Zwinky. (If you’ve gotten messages from other channels claiming to be us…it’s full-on fakery.) The videos currently on there were previously shared on zwINK, and they’re lonely! 
2. Subscribe to our channel!
3. Send us a message that includes:

• The category of the video (Tutorial, Room Collection, etc.) in the SUBJECT LINE.
• A link to your video, either in the body of the text or through the “Attach Video” drop down.
• Your Zwinky username in the body of the text.

We are currently looking for:

• Original Zwinky Programming (Dramas, Comedies, Films)
• Zwinky News Shows (including coverage of special events, past and present, in Zwinktopia)
• Tutorials for using Zwinky.com, making Zwinky designs/Youtube videos, etc.
• Collections of Room and Fashion Designs
• Music videos
• Anything else awesome that we’re forgetting!

At the moment, our guidelines for video content are pretty simple:

• Keep it clean. Images, soundtracks and chat bubbles should reflect a PG-13 sensibility. Even the most beautifully made video will not be considered if it includes content that is inappropriate for Zwinky’s 13+ audience.
• Submit your best work. Production value matters! We would like to see polished pieces that make for a riveting view.

And that’s it! It will take us a couple of weeks to to sift through submissions. Once we’ve arranged our playlists, we will officially launch the page with a gorgeous new redesign!

So many wonderful holidays have danced past us these past few months, and I hope all of yours were filled with friends, fun, and punch bowls full of love! Now that your New Year’s resolutions have been set and all your lace-trimmed Valentines tucked away, it’s time to take a step back from the chaos and reflect on all that has happened.

Did you let something magical slip through your fingers? Find you the courage to stand up for yourself when the going got tough? Oh, Julie dear. It sounds like a classic case of the FRENEMY. One second she’s a bestie, the next second just a beast. Ideally, your best buds cheer you on and encourage you to fulfill your hopes and dreams – not cut you down and call you names. Did something happen to cause your friend to suddenly be mean to you? Or is this a personality trait you have noticed growing over time? If something happened, perhaps you can approach her and talk it through. If nothing happened, then think hard about what you are getting out of this friendship. It is a well worn conundrum in love, Blake: Beau vs. Buddy. Miss Thang suspects this scenario might be one of two things. It’s possible your girlfriend is just looking out for you: does your pal have questionable habits or is perhaps a bad influence in some way? If so, your sweetheart may just be concerned that the company you keep prevents you from being as great as you can be. Her complaints might be warranted, so keep them in mind. However, the other possible scenario is a lot simpler. She may just want to spend more time with you. While you shouldn’t have to choose between your partner or your pal, you do need to make sure you are giving each the attention deserved. Confirm to your hunny bunny that your heart beats only for her, and that nothing you do, nor no one you hang with, affects that. That may be all it takes! If she needs more reassurance, figure out scheduling that works for you – or try hanging out all together!

Offers: Tips on SponsorPay and RadiumOne Social

From time to time, the Player Support Team gets messages from Zwinks who don’t receive ZCard after trying to complete an offer. No one wants you to lose out on ZCard, especially the Zwinky Team!

RadiumOne Social and SponsorPay are offer providers who help you earn, rather than buy, ZCard. Each offer has its own set of requirements that must be filled before ZCard is awarded. Some offers ask for a subscription, purchase, or email address. Others are as simple as watching a short video or filling out a survey for free!

Here are some quick tips on how to successfully complete an offer:
Complete all of the steps. Many Zwinks lose out on ZCard because they leave an offer when they still have a step or two to go.
Enter accurate information. ZCard will not be awarded if you submit false information. In some cases, your account might get blocked by the offer provider for too many fake claims.
Check your Spam folder. Certain offers may require email verification before you are awarded ZCard. Make sure to check your spam folder if you haven’t seen anything in your Inbox!
Be patient. Keep in mind that it can take several days for ZCard to be awarded to your account.
Keep records/proof of your completed offers. In some cases, RadiumOne and SponsorPay may ask for proof of offer fulfillment when you contact them about the status of an offer. Consider taking a screenshot of completion pages and saving confirmation emails from offer providers so you have proof handy if you need it.

If you have done all of the above and still did not receive your ZCard, follow the steps below to get help and information.

RadiumOne Social

1.  First, make sure you are logged into Zwinky.
2. Click on the purple “+/Add More” icon to access the Zwinky Commerce page.
3. Choose the RadiumOne Social offer button.
4. Click on the “Missing ZCard?” link to get more information on the specific offers you have started/completed.
5. On the next page, you will be able to check whether your offers are in progress or complete. If you suspect that the status of your offer is incorrect, click on the “Contact Support” link and provide RadiumOne Social with the requested information. (This link will only appear once you have waited the amount of time specified by the offer.) You must submit a complaint within 14 days of clicking a RadiumOne Social offer.
